The Lemon Tree Writers are an enthusiastic group of poets, storywriters, novelists and playwrights mainly based in Aberdeen and surrounding areas; though their origins are from far and wide. They meet fortnightly (virtually) to discuss their writing and share their work. New members, be they beginners or published, are made very welcome.
The Perennial Porridge Pot Podcasts (found on this site) are fortnightly productions which showcase work by LTW Members. Would you like to be included? Get in touch.
In ‘normal times’ the group met on alternate Saturdays from 11 am to 1 pm in The Belmont Filmhouse, Belmont Street, Aberdeen.
Until such ‘normal times’ resume meetings will continue fortnightly 11am to 1pm, same dates, same format, but online via Skype. LTW members have been invited to “join the conversation” on Skype and help sheets have been distributed.
In 2020 the Lemon Tree Writers meet on 11 and 25 January, 8 and 22 February, 3, 7 and 21 March, 4 and 18 April, 2, 16 and 30 May, 13 and 27 June, 11 and 25 July, 8 and 22 August, 5 and 19 September, 3, 17 and 31 October, 14 and 28 November and 12 December.
